20th January 2012: New album on the horizon Apologies for the radio silence here recently - we've been tucked away in a variety of recording establishments putting the finishing touches to our upcoming record, 'Postcards'. We will very shortly have full details of the release (due in May) and the track listing. Needless to say, we're hugely pleased with how it's all sounding, and can't wait to get it out there. We're also currently booking in some shows for the summer. In the meantime, we've got a couple of acoustic shows coming up in February. Full details on those will be here soon too... The Leeds Uni performance was a lot of fun - many thanks to Jillian for organising it, and Phil and the team for the brilliant technical support. Thanks to everyone who came down to Oporto on Monday to witness the debut performance of some of the new songs. The positive response was fantastic! In addition to the Leeds Uni gig on Friday (link below), we've also now confirmed a last-minute performance on a barge, which will be moored up at Granary Wharf in Leeds on Friday afternoon. This will be a totally acoustic gig (we'll have to shout!), and we're on around 4.30. More details here 17th October 2011: This week - two gigs! We're hugely excited to reveal details of our debut album, This Way To Power, which will be released on 14th March. ![]() The album will be available on iTunes, and also as a limited digipak CD. Pre-order your copy on CD now, for £10 (including p&p): To celebrate the release we will be doing three separate and quite different performances during the course of one month, all of which are detailed below: The Adelphi, Leeds: Saturday 12th March, 3pm - tickets 2 pounds on the door: To start the ball rolling we will be doing an entirely acoustic performance at this aweome old Victorian Leeds pub. We'll be playing a mixture of acoustic versions of songs taken from "This Way to Power" as well as a few surprises. The gig serves as part of The Adelphi's regular 'Acoustic Revolution'. We will take the stage at 3pm, and will no doubt be sticking around afterwards for a few beers. This will be the first opportunity to get your hands on a copy of the new album. Click here for directions. Mind The Gap, Lister Mills, Bradford: Saturday 19th March, 3pm - free entry: We are very excited to be performing at Lister Mills, once the biggest silk mill in the world. What better setting in which to debut a concept album about... well you'll find out. We will be adding in all of the electronica used on the album. Wakefield Arts Centre, Wakefield: Monday 11th April, 7pm - 2 pounds on the door (all proceeds going to WaterAid): For this very special final launch gig we will be performing in this 120-seat theatre in the middle of Wakefield's Thornes Park. For this show we will be including all of the electronica that we used on the finished album and we will be joined by Antony Davis on the flute. 6th January 2011: Album update 13th December 2010: One More Sleep 'Til Christmas - free download! Hello! We're ending the year on a high, with our debut album in the final mixing stages.
